What is the height of the Centipede?

  • Our Centipedes come in 2 different heights. The CK series has a 30" working height and the CT series has a 36" working height. Optional are 6" risers that can be attached to increase the working height by 6 inches.

Is the Centipede modular?

  • The Centipede system is a modular system. The stand can support sheet goods as a general cutting platform or a jobsite table. We also make accessories for the stand to make it more capable. Tabletops are available to convert the Centipede stand into a clamping table, or a workbench. There are also panel cutting supports for extra support when cutting sheet goods.

Can two Centipedes be connected to form 1 larger workbench?

  • Connecting 2 Centipede stands together requires the use of the Centipede tabletop. Two 2x4 Centipedes connected would form a 2x6 Stand. This is due to the 2' space needed to mount a tabletop between the 2 stands. For more details, please see the support article here: https://boratoolsupport.kb.help/connecting-2-centipede-stands/

Are the Centipede legs waterproof?

  • The Centipede legs are powder-coated steel, with a section of plastic at the top and bottom. It is rust-resistant but is not recommended for continuous use in water, as some of the hardware is not coated for rust resistance.

What clampes are used to secure the top to the Centipede stand?

  • For standard plywood of MDF sheet use as a top, the Quick Clamp can be used. For the Centipede Tabletop, it comes with twist locks to attach it to the Centipede.
